Biography Victoria Cafik has fifteen years of experience in cultural resource management in Ontario. Victoria has filled a number of professional roles since she first joined ARA in 2007, having worked her way up from Field Technician to Assistant Field Director before being brought indoors in 2012 to serve as Assistant Project Manager. In her capacity as Assistant Project Manager, Victoria was responsible for day-to-day logistical management, scheduling, liaising with clients, the MCM and First Nations groups. Beginning in 2015, Victoria assumed the role of Indigenous Engagement Manager and was responsible for providing proponents direction and support through the engagement process, coordinating fieldwork efforts with local First Nations Groups as directed by the proponent, tracking all points of contact throughout the engagement process, providing summaries, updates and strategy letters to engaged communities and maintaining and creating professional relationships with local First Nations communities. In this role Victoria has coordinated engagement on Archaeological and Heritage projects with 66 First Nations and Metis communities throughout Ontario. Victoria has recently brought her vast experience to ARA's Project Planning Team where she manages requests for proposals, from small individual property quotes to large scale retainers valued at upwards of $500,000.00.cal Research
