Biography Susan Schappert has extensive experience in researching cultural heritage and writing about cultural heritage values. She has written numerous nominations to the Canadian Register of Historic Places, heritage designation reports and by-laws and heritage property reports based on archival research and photodocumentation. She has substantial knowledge of provincial legislation regarding heritage preservation, as well as heritage property evaluation, inventories and Municipal Heritage Registers, as well as heritage conservation districts. Susan has experience working with municipal heritage advisory committee and municipal Councils regarding heritage properties and policies.
