Resumé

Biography I am a Senior Heritage Planner with MHBC and joined the firm in 2018. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Celtic Studies, a Higher Education Diploma in Cultural Studies at the University of the Highlands and Islands ( completed a year at Sabhal Mór Ostaig on the Isle of Skye) and a Master of Arts in World Heritage and Cultural Projects for Development. I completed my Master’s in Turin, Italy at the International Training Centre of the ILO. The Master’s program was established by UNESCO in conjunction with the University of Turin/ Politecnico di Torino. I have provided a variety of heritage planning services for public and private sector clients. I have worked for years completing cultural heritage planning in a municipal setting both in municipal building and planning departments and for the private sector to gain a diverse knowledge of building and planning in respect to how they apply to cultural heritage. I enjoy being involved in the local community and I have been involved in the collection of oral history, in English and Scottish Gaelic, and local records for their protection and conservation and occasionally lecturer on related topics. My passion for history and experience in archives, museums, municipal building and planning departments supports my ability to provide exceptional cultural heritage services.
