Resumé
Biography Nicholas Holman combines an art-historical background with an architectural foreground, though few know of the hours spent toiling in construction and in grimy metal-fabrication shops. Architectural enlightenment came during five years working in Edinburgh. Of primary interest is the link between what and how, between social, architectural and technical manners. These interests, combined with building pathology, may lead to appropriate interventions - philosophically, aesthetically and economically.
