Resumé

Biography Monica Maika has over fifteen years of experience in cultural resource management. She is currently an Archaeologist with the National Capital Commission (NCC). She is responsible for the protection and management of resources of NCC lands, and provides archaeological recommendations for development projects on federal lands in the National Capital Region. She has worked on Stage 1-4 archaeological assessments throughout Ontario as a Field Technician, Field Director, artifact analyst and report writer. Monica has also conducted archaeology in Northeastern British Columbia. Monica holds an MA in Archaeology from UWO, professional license #P1021 with the MCM and is a member of the Register of Professional Archaeologists.
