Mark Jones

Biography Mark is the President of Prestige Conservation; he specializes in Heritage Conservation and Restoration. Mark sits on the Board of Directors of CAHP is Co-Chair of the membership committee. Mark has been working in the construction field for 30 + years. He received a professional diploma in the field of cabinetmaking and furniture restoration in 1994, but he had already been restoring wood and metals since 1989. Subsequently, from 2006 to 2009, he worked on his own in his own atelier, at the time, specializing in cabinetmaking, restoration. In 2010 Mark joined the Asbex Ltd | Heritage Grade team as Project Director for the execution of heritage restoration projects. Mark was appointed Executive Vice President of Asbex Ltd / Heritage Grade Qc in 2012. In 2021, Mark joined St-Denis Thompson as Project Director for their building and major projects division, continuing to specialize in heritage restoration, Estimating and managing architectural restoration projects. In 2022, Mark became President of Dominion Restoration and was tasked to build a Heritage Restoration firm with its own atelier. Over 5 years, Mark participated in the building of one of Canada's respected restoration firms. In 2026, Mark takes on Heritage Restoration projects that he feels passionate about or that require his expertise. He consults on restoration methods and budgets and provides how-to training to the next generation of Crafts People, Heritage project managers and estimators.
