Resumé
Biography I am a specialist in Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) safeguard and policy implementation. Since 2011, I have been part of the UNESCO network facilitators on the 2003 Convention, which is responsible for conducting the ICH Global Capacity-building Strategy. In addition, I have been working with Indigenous Peoples and Traditional Communities in Latin America and Lusophone African Countries for the last ten years. I support community-based inventories, manifestations registration and safeguard planning. I also facilitate ICH policy design, detailed guidelines, and capacity-building processes for government and civil society representatives. Since July 2022, I have been a Cultural Heritage Planner at The First Peoples’ Cultural Council (FPCC), a provincial Crown Corporation formed by the government of British Columbia in 1990 to administer the First Peoples’ Heritage, Language and Culture Program.
