Resumé

Biography Lesley is a professional urban planner specializing in heritage conservation and worked as a heritage planner for the City of Ottawa from 2009 to 2019. Since 2020 she has been the Program Manager for the City’s Heritage Planning Branch. Lesley has a Master’s of Science in Planning from the University of Toronto and has been working as a Heritage Planner since 2006. Lesley joined the City of Ottawa in 2009 and has worked on many complex files including the designation and adaptive reuse of the Innovation Centre at Bayview Yards, the designation and redevelopment of the Medical Arts Building at 180 Metcalfe Street and the research, designation and policy development for the Briarcliffe Heritage Conservation District, Canada’s first mid-century modern heritage district. Lesley is passionate about heritage conservation and the role it plays in building a livable city.
