Biography Kathy is a consulting building science technologist and project manager with twenty years of experience in the conservation field in both Canada, and the UK. Working in the shop and on the construction sites with a team of highly skilled craftsmen gives Kathy a unique perspective from which to assess and determine the appropriate solutions to complex design issues that often occur during the restoration of historic buildings. Her responsibilities include building condition assessments, writing conservation specifications, design solutions, code compliance, CAD detailing, and contract document administration. Kathys projects include National Historic Sites, Provincially designated and many other historically significant buildings. Recent projects include Sandyford NHS, Dundurn NHS, Spadina Museum, St. Thomas Courthouse, and The Hamilton Club, The Historic Guelph Train Station.
