Julie Schueck

Biography Julie Schueck is an independent heritage consultant working primarily in British Columbia since 1993. She was the Heritage Planner for the City of New Westminster from 2007 to 2017 during which time she developed the City’s heritage program and was the lead Planner on numerous heritage applications. Julie is a professional member of the British Columbia Association of Heritage Professionals and sat on the national Board of the Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals from 2015 - 2019. Julie’s experience as a professional heritage consultant and as a heritage planner has included numerous heritage property assessments, writing and reviewing Statements of Significance and Heritage Conservation Plans, advising on Heritage Revitalization Agreements, assessing proposals against heritage guidelines, as well as many collaborative policy projects for both neighbourhood and city-wide initiatives.
