Resumé
Biography Jia Shin has a master’s degree in structural engineering (timber design) from Queen's University in Kingston. She specializes on the restoration of historic building envelopes (wall cladding, roofs and windows), but has also focused on the repair of contemporary buildings and green building design. Recent Toronto historic projects include masonry repairs at Commerce Court North, the University of Toronto's Soldiers’ Tower, and developing 1 King St. W.'s overall restoration program (facades and cornice).
