Ivonne Voelkel

Biography Ivonne Voelkel is an ARB – UK Registered Architect and Heritage Consultant. Her extensive expertise ranges from practical building conservation, rehabilitation, and revitalization of historic buildings and urban spaces to adaptive reuse and new designs in historic settings. Her involvement in award-winning projects in Europe and Canada spans from the cultural and institutional sector over commercial schemes and industrial heritage to residential and interior projects, ranging in size, scope, and complexity. Over the past 19 years, Ivonne has been involved in Heritage Planning Projects, including the preparation of Statements of Significance, Heritage Conservation Plans and Heritage Management Plans, Heritage Evaluations and Assessment, and research on architectural history. Further assignments have included the preparation of measured building surveys, condition assessments, and historic paint research. Ivonne is affiliated with international educational institutions, advocating best practices and heritage awareness.
