Biography As an architect, Ida gained experience and expertise in heritage restoration projects at Goldsmith Borgal & Company Ltd. Architects. She has been senior project architect overseeing the conservation and transformation of a number of award-winning adaptive re-use projects, including Guelph's Provincial Offences Court (formerly Guelph City Hall); 10 Toronto Street (originally Toronto's Seventh Post Office); James Cooper Mansion, Toronto; and Longo's Leaside, Toronto (formerly Canadian Northern Railway Eastern Lines Locomotive Shop). Ida finds great satisfaction in collaborating with owners, other design professionals and trade specialists in re-purposing existing historic buildings.
