Biography Emad Ghattas, M.Arch, MRAIC, OAA, CAHP holds a B.Sc. (Arch) from McGill University (2009) and an M.Arch from the University of Waterloo (2013). He joined GBCA Architects in 2014. Emad assists GBCA’s clients with development applications, prepares reports and assessments for associated heritage resources, applies provincial and municipal policies, coordinates with other consultants and liaises with municipal authorities to receive heritage approvals at all levels of the process (Official Plan Amendments, Zoning Amendments, Site Plan Control, Building Permit, etc.) As a licensed architect, Emad also prepares and reviews heritage conservation contract documents and reviews the progress of the conservation work on site. He is fully fluent in French and English.
