Biography Dima joined FGMDA (now EVOQ Architecture) in 1998 and is now a principal at firm. She started working on Heritage Conservation projects for two years before managing new construction projects in Northern Quebec. In 2006, she refocused on heritage as Heritage Project Architect working on large, complex heritage projects. Her knowledge of conservation and construction is well paired with her project management experience, which ensures the efficient organization of the projects under her supervision from early feasibility studies, through to pre‐design, design and approvals, to contract documents, tendering, and contract administration. She manages large projects with multi‐ disciplinary teams, consultants and stakeholders, is often called upon to present projects to clients, the public, reviewing authorities and other stakeholders. She opened EVOQ’s Toronto office in 2012 and has been directing it since. As a LEED AP BD+C‐accredited professional, she serves as a sustainability advisor for the firm. Her commitment to sustainable heritage conservation is reflected in her professional activities outside the firm. She was a founding member of the Montreal Chapter of Habitat for Humanity. She has served on the APT committee on Sustainability and Climate Change. In 2014, she was appointed to the City of Toronto Design Review Panel as Heritage Representative.
