Mr. Martin has been retained by public and private sector clients to assist with all aspects of planning, site development and approvals processes. For heritage conservation projects, this work has included Building Condition Reports, Cultural Heritage Impact Statements, Consultation with BHACs, and appearing before the Ontario Municipal Board as an Expert Witness in Heritage Matters. Mr. Martin has been responsible for the design and construction of many building types, including institutional, commercial and residential projects, in new, renovation and adaptive reuse settings. He combines strong general professional experience and management with specialist skills in the areas of functional and heritage master planning, specifications, heritage conservation and building envelope design. Recent historical building renovations and restoration projects attest to our client’s high satisfaction with functional, durable facilities achieved with elegance and economy of means. Mr. Martin has extensive experience working public and private stakeholders and has garnered a reputation for thoughtful, creative conservation planning and design on multi-disciplinary project teams.
