Biography

Ellen’s background in the field of history informs her rigorous approach research, heritage planning and communications projects. She has extensive experience conducting research at archives, libraries and museums into Canada’s social and material history. Ellen enjoys working with architects, urban planners, landscape architects, graphic designers, interpretative designers and photographers to develop heritage planning and communications products. To every project, Ellen brings over 20 years of experience in the public and private sectors, with highly-developed skills in leadership and management, oversight of complex project budgets, policy development, communications, presentations and public speaking, decisive and accountable decision-making, as well as consensus and team building.
