Biography

Alex Corey is a senior heritage planner at the City of Toronto, where he is responsible for the design and implementation of strategic heritage policy and planning projects across the city. His career in historic preservation has included leading building assessments and neighborhood surveys, undertaking research and evaluation of a variety of cultural heritage resources, preparing conservation strategies, and producing heritage conservation district studies and plans. He holds a Masters of Science in Historic Preservation from Columbia University, and an undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto.
