Paul Maka's heritage expertise and focus is in three areas: Museum Specialist, Planner, and Public Sector Representative. Paul holds a Masters Degree in Museum Studies from University of Leicester, UK. He worked for 5 years delivering museum programs for adults and children at Historic Fort York, Pier Museum and Colborne Lodge. Paul has also completed a Professional Specialization Certificate in Conservation Planning at the University of Victoria. Currently, Paul works for the City of Toronto and has done so for the past 5 years. His portfolio includes adaptive reuse projects, such as Maple Leaf Gardens and the Guild Inn as well as holding the responsibility for five Heritage Conservation Districts with more than 1700 properties.
