Marilyn is an independent heritage management consultant in Calgary, Alberta. Her services include heritage research and writing, analysis and evaluations, statements of significance, community workshops, inventory planning, management plans and context papers for heritage sites, structures, cultural landscapes and communities. She completed her M.A. in Conservation Studies, Historic Buildings at the University of York, England, focusing her research on heritage management planning for inner city communities. Marilyn brings to her heritage projects over twenty years of experience from her previous engineering background, including a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, teaching and managing diverse multidisciplinary teams. She is also involved with numerous city-wide and community heritage initiatives in Calgary and is currently a Director with the Calgary Civic Trust.
