Ms. Harris has 20 years experience as a public historian in government and private practice. She has conducted studies on public works, scientific agricultural sites, and engineering works across Canada. She is also a past director for the Society for Industrial Archaeology. Ms. Harris expertise in historical research, cultural resource management and communications is matched by extensive experience writing historical research reports, participating in heritage planning and presentation programs, and managing research projects. She has expert knowledge in cultural landscapes, the economics of historic preservation, the history of Canadian architecture, and the history of science and technology. She is the author of numerous articles and scholarly reports.
