With 35 years experience in professional education and other roles in the heritage and museum worlds, Joy Davis brings a uniquely integrated perspective to her practice. Her accomplishments include the conceptualization and management of innovative programs in cultural heritage studies, intercultural education and language revitalization for heritage and museum specialists across Canada and beyond, and the development of hundreds of on-campus and online courses. She has also played senior leadership roles at the University of Victoria. Joy holds a PhD in Educational Studies, and received the 2015 Canadian Museums Association Distinguished Service Award. Her expertise includes heritage-focused research, program planning/implementation, strategic planning, community relations, and writing/editing.
