Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville
Jeremy Parsons is a heritage planner with both public and private sector experience, having worked for several municipalities, research collections, and a consulting firm. Jeremy has been with the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville since January 2019 and, previous to that, with the City of Hamilton. Jeremy holds a Master of Arts in Geography from McMaster University, specializing in urban historical geography; a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts from Redeemer University; and is currently working on his Master of Planning (MPlan) from the University of Guelph. Jeremy has experience working with heritage advisory committees, public stakeholder groups, and municipal Councils regarding planning policies and heritage properties. Jeremy has particular interests in rural planning, social history, and the adaptive reuse of aging civic buildings and places of faith.
