Christopher Wallace Architect
Chris Wallace is a registered architect with an on-going interest in preserving and strengthening our built heritage. He has completed restoration projects, renovation / addition projects, and new construction in many Designated Heritage Districts. He has completed over a dozen projects in Meadowvale Village, Ontarios first Designated Heritage District, as well as works in the historical areas of The Beach, Rosedale and Leaside in Toronto, and in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Chris has worked as an urban designer through his own practice, as an employee of Project Planning Associates Ltd., and currently as an associate of LANDinc. He has focussed on designs that fit their urban or natural context. He has been involved in urban design / main-street revitalization studies including Kleinburg, Port Carling and Port Colborne to the West Precinct of Parliament Hill in Ottawa. As founder and chair of The Pier Group in Port Hope, he worked tirelessly for the preservation of that communitys industrial waterfront heritage.
