Mr. Stewart's experience as a landscape architect and his interest in landscape and cultural history informs his award winning work in the heritage field. He has consulted on numerous park revitalization projects in the City of Toronto, developed heritage interpretation plans for Toronto's central waterfront and West Don Lands precincts, and developed heritage oriented design guidelines for the revitalization of several major institutional campus sites in southern Ontario. Additionally, Mr. Stewart regularly contributes to HIA's and heritage conservation district studies, plans and guidelines with a cultural landscape focus.
