Alana Young holds a Master's degree in architecture with 5 years of specialized training in architectural conservation. Experience includes complete architectural services for conservation, restoration and adaptive re-use projects including building condition assessments, inventory and documentation, historic research, feasibility studies, design and construction documentation and contract administration. Alana has played a role in several major heritage projects including the University of Toronto, Daniels Faculty of Architecture and Landscape Design Building (Knox College c. 1875), Gooderham Condos at the Distillery District (c. 18), and Auchmar Estate, Hamilton (c. 1864). Alana is passionate about her work and believes in the power of architecture, both new and old, to improve the everyday.
