
John Wells is a widely recognized building envelope specialist and durable building consultant across Canada. John has over 25 years experience providing expert input on the design of building envelope systems, including advanced, proprietary analyses to determine the most appropriate envelope design or remediation. John has been the President of Crosier Kilgour & Partners Ltd. for the last four years. He is a registered professional engineer in Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Alberta, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland & Labrador, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Nunavut, and Northwest Territories.
John entered the Ph.D. program at the University of Manitoba in 2008 and completed the program in May 2014. John is recognized for his expertise as a Durable Building Consultant by many local and national consultants, and as such, has critiqued numerous envelope designs. John is a Standing Committee Member for Part 5 of the National Building Code of Canada including a member of several related task groups and utilizes this involvement to ensure that Crosier Kilgour is at the forefront of the industry in the field of building science.
