Craft & Trade Specialist
Marc Côté has more than 30 years of experience in the restoration and conservation of masonry structures. The last 29 years were dedicated to maintenance of the buildings of the Parliamentary Precinct in Ottawa. He has acquired an extensive body of knowledge and experience in various methods of intervention on heritage buildings and structures. Over the years, he has developed an expertise in the assembly of solid masonry walls; steel structures; dimensional stones; terra cotta units; burned clay bricks and other masonry elements. He was responsible for the mobilization of masons to who completed intrusive openings and restorations of the WW1 battlefields in Europe, including Vimy Ridge.

Building Specialist
Marc Côté is well known for his experience and quality as a Project Manager on building envelopes. He has acquired excellent knowledge in identifying the various deficiencies related to the envelope. He also possesses a very good knowledge of the techniques used in the restoration of various components, eg. flashings, slate & copper roofs, and stained glass. He has been responsible for the implementation for many masonry restoration projects, of heritage buildings and monuments in Canada and Europe.
